Active Brain Games

“Active Brain Games for Seniors” is an international project carried out under the European Union Erasmus+ program with the project number 2024-1-PT01-220-ADU-000253511. Started on September 1, 2024 and planned to be completed on August 31, 2026, the main objective of this project is to develop games and tools specifically designed to maintain and improve the cognitive and physical skills of the rapidly growing elderly population.

The main focus of the project is to strengthen the cognitive functions and memory, support social life and improve the quality of life of people over the age of 65, who today make up approximately 21% of the population in the European Union and partner countries. Research shows that professionals working with older people often use self-prepared methods that are often not effective enough. This project aims to provide more effective and professional tools to support the cognitive health of older people.
